First year subjects include Community Medicine and Integrated Basic Medicine which comprises of Physiology, Anatomy, Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pharmacology.
Second year subjects include Applied epidemiology, Forensic Medicine, Family health internal medicine, Gynaecology, Surgery, Paediatrics and Obstetrics.
Third year subjects include ENT, Eye, Dentistry, Orthopaedics, Dentistry, Radiology, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, Anaesthesiology and accident medicine.
The entrance examination for KIST Medical College is held annually in June. Candidates must have completed at least two years of high school education with science subjects to be eligible to sit for the entrance examination.
Candidate should have completed 10+2 or intermediate of science or equivalent course with English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry as major subjects securing at least 50 per cent mark in each subject and in aggregate too from the recognized college.
